A PASSION FOR BOARD GAMES
Playhouse was founded in 2000 in Thessaloniki, Greece, with the opening of one of the first board-game cafés in the country. The concept quickly became a phenomenon in the city’s social life. By combining coffee, music, and a large collection of board games, Playhouse introduced a new and alternative way for people to connect, relax, and have fun together. Today, Playhouse continues to expand its activities through retail, wholesale, events, publishing, and franchise development.
FROM CAFÉS TO BOARD GAME DISTRIBUTION
As the board gaming community grew, Playhouse expanded its activity beyond cafés.
The company began localizing and distributing board games for the Greek market, helping bring internationally acclaimed titles to Greek players.
Today, many of these games can be found in specialized board game stores across Greece, while Playhouse continues to promote the culture of tabletop gaming.
